Credentials:
I have no institutionally recognized credentials. This includes all disiplines or branches of microbiology or medical arts.

This hobby business is strictly based on my own studies and research with the aid of computer networks, books, interactive media, and personal contacts. My philosophical approach to learning is a simple process; gain experience by doing. Mistakes will be made, but nothing advances without mistakes. My work is a continuous learning curve, and is never thought of as being absolute.

One area of research I am dedicated to is interacting with hundreds of people on-line seeking knowledge on medical issues. Most of these individuals have various medical conditions which have eluded the standard avenues of modern and alternative medical practices. This has provided me with the opportunity to witness first hand the numerous therapeudic and recuperative techniques used by everyday people desparate for results. In a way, this represents a virtual laboratory, with thousands of people using various experimental methods. I have been very careful to record the success and failures of ordinary people over a 5 year period.
Many factors are individually based, but there does emerge a universal consensus on many protocols and therapies.

My Personal Quest:
I have been actively pursuing a solution to my own chronic health condition, which is non-life threating, but nontheless very annoying. It involves a parasitic burden which tends to be concentrated in the upper bowel, near the liver.

F. Hepatica It involves a cryptic parasite which invade certain intestinal cells and possibly other tissue cells. They are common in nature, and there is still lack of data to fully understand them. They are called coccidian [coc-sidian] parasites.

To the right, is a hepatic trematode, or fluke. The discovery of this parasite may or may not be significant, however, investigative microscopic procedure resulted in detection.

Visits to the doctors and specialists over the last decade have not yielded any sustainable remedy to this condition. All lab tests and evaluations have failed to pinpoint the exact problem. Because my over-all health is in excellent condition, there is no priority to push things to the next level.

Many people are in the same situation, and because of this, I have decided to build a hobby lab to conduct research. I believe some chronic health issues are rooted in the accumulation of parasitic load over time. Most of this happens in the intestines, but there are some intracellular and interstitial types which must be considered. I consider them “stealth parasites”. These types of infections can lead to co-factor problems including opportunistic infections from fungi, bacteria, viruses and other parasites. Most of the time, the symptomology is related to low-level immunopathology. This means the body reacts to toxins, allergens, and other things causing sensitivities without full blown illness.

Using elaborate testing procedures, many clues can elucidate these types of problems. Having this information, can help create a stategy to restore health.
